Grants

If funds are available following the selection of Fellows each year, the Committee may consider offering financial support for other areas of educational opportunities.

Eligible Grant Areas Include:

• Specialized professional training for individuals seeking Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from an accredited institution.
• Professional development from a nationally approved provider offering CE credits.
• Financial support for agencies organizing professional workshops.

The licensing/accrediting organization must confirm that the specific course was accepted for CEUs.

Sponsorship Letter

A community agency, an institution, or the Bermuda Government must sponsor candidates.

Required Information:

• Name of Sponsoring Agency or Institution
• Contact Person, Telephone, and Email
• Candidate's Name
• Recommendation Letter from Sponsor
• Confirmation that the Fellow will commit to working in Bermuda's substance use disorder/ addiction intervention field for a minimum of three to five years post-completion of study.
