Dr. Zina-Dawn N. Woolridge
Dr. Zina-Dawn Woolridge is the 2010 Duperreault Fellow.
Zina holds a Doctor of Strategic Leadership degree with a Major in Strategic Foresight from Regent University in Virginia Beach, VA, USA. She commenced her studies in May 2009 and graduated in May 2013.
Zina is currently employed as the Case Management Unit Manager at the Department of Court Services where she is responsible for the operation and development of the Parole, Probation and Drug Treatment Court Programmes. Offender rehabilitation, particularly substance abuse rehabilitation, remains the critical focus of each of these programmes.
Zina realised her dreams of contributing to the academic field of Leadership in 2010 when her article, “Character: A Critical Component of Good Leadership”, was published in the Fall 2010 issue of Leadership Advanced Online. She is an active member of the following international organisations: World Future Society (foresight), Public Sector Foresight Network, and American Association of Christian Counselors.
Zina actively mentors and coaches professionals and students in the social services field to help them achieve their utmost potential. Most recently, she was invited to become a member of the Executive Committee of the Inter-Agency Committee for Children and Families (IAC). In this capacity, Â Zina has joined a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to the prevention of social ills such as substance abuse by creating a healthy environment for Bermuda’s children and equipping professionals to address the challenges that children face.
