Mychel Jones

Mychel Jones is the 2020 Duperreault Fellow.

Mychel's award of $64,000 is funding her studies, over four years, for a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology-Addictions offered online by Walden University.

She is currently employed at the Salvation Army Harbour Light programme where she provides direct addiction services. She previously worked at the Nelson Bascome Centre for Substance Abuse Treatment from 2015-2019. Mychel achieved her certificate in Addictions Counselling from the Addictions Training Institute (ATI).

She has also participated in a number of addiction workshops offered by the Department of National Drug Control and is committed to enhancing her professional qualifications through higher education while continuing to serve Bermudians. Mychel is a graduate of CedarBridge Academy.
